BEING MINDFUL

Increasing mental health awareness among employees enhances the delivery of the business and the service provided. Line managers often feel unsure about how to support colleagues who experience depression, anxiety and other mental health problems and staff at the frontline of a business may not know how best to deal with customers who have such difficulties. Increasing awareness of mental health among managers and staff improves the service provided, helps retain valued customers and attract new ones, and demonstrate that  employers support their staff in this area of concern.

BEING MINDFUL covers different aspects of mental health awareness and can be adapted and adopted to suit the needs of the organisation. Sessions are delivered by WorkWAYS, the Devon Partnership NHS Trust service which hosts and facilitates MINDFUL EMPLOYER.

It’s important that a BEING MINDFUL session meets the needs of managers and staff. To help ensure this, the content is chosen from the modules shown below. A BEING MINDFUL session lasts 3 hours and we suggest choosing no more than 3 modules. Each module is flexible in length and we will be pleased to help you compile the right combination.
