Mental Health Organisations

& Other Useful Links

The organisations and links listed below offer help and advice on a range of issues.

NIMHE’s Knowledge Community is a shared space where people can exchange knowledge, information and experiences relating to any aspect of mental health. Connects a wide range of people, groups, organisations and information in a way that is designed to make it easy for people to find who or what they are looking for, taking into account a variety of different perspectives and points of view. Visit the Mind website also for a list of organisations across the country and The Richmond Fellowship's Employment & Training Projects.

For details of local organisations go to Other Devon Agencies and other services in the South West. If you are an employer looking for general assistance about mental health issues, click here or go to support for employers.

What's in a name

To avoid confusion, we are not connected to Blackthorn Workways in Kent which provides work-related assistance for people with mental health problems in conjunction with Kent & Medway NHS Trust nor the former Bristol Workways Ltd which merged with Mental Health Matters in November 2000. Similarly, we are separate from the TEI Workways employment project in Neath-Port Talbot and also The Workways Project in King's Lynn.
